Supposedly everyone likes, knows how, and is willing to travel. When you ask someone: what would he do after winning fortune on lottery, or for other dreams - exotic voyages are always on menu. My own, personal opinion about that is best presented by Polish poet Edward Stachura: "There is a special skill to improve one's interest in the world. One goes to Mallorca, the other one to Grudziadz, but it doesn't mean that the first one will improve his interest in the world more. Trip to Grudziadz can be much more interesting and exotic for the second one, than first one's voyage to Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Besides, there is one such thing: wherever you go, you will find over there mostly that, what you brought with you, what means inside yourself. If you brought not much, so there is not much for you to find on the other side of the world. And nothing can help there." ![]() Being on the move was the
"must" for me ever since. But Marzena was a kind of always staying home and changing her habits took some time. I think, now she is fully converted. We are not professional travellers, but we travel, whenever we can. Whenever our professional obligations allow. Unfortunately, our duties seldom allow to travel where we want. Instead, sometimes business trips cause visiting interesting places anyhow. It is not our idea, to copy guide books. Listing all places we visited and everything what we saw is a gigantic task, which we are not up to, so far. May be one day... So, how to begin with this matter right now? Simplifying, it would turn out, that our travels could be grouped in several "types". I will try to list them and give example. At present this is all available in Polish only. Various voyages - long and very short
Great Aviatic Voyages
Voyages with "Dysharmonia"
We also travel with our spirit - in the space and time. This is the the cheapest and the fastest. |
